Miller & Stevens Family Dentistry
Miller & Stevens Family Dentistry is a real practice on Walker Avenue in South Oklahoma City, family owned since 1967. This is not their website and it was not commissioned. It is a redesign I built on my own, from their public details, to find out what the practice would look like online if the site carried the same care the practice is known for. It is a concept and nothing more; the practice has no connection to it.

Dental sites are among the most template-bound on the web — a stock smile, a row of service tiles, a booking button, and nothing that tells you what this particular practice is like. The harder part is that the people reading them are often nervous. What an anxious patient wants settled before booking, namely how long the first visit runs, what the room looks like, whether they will see the same dentist each time and what it costs if it turns out to be nothing, is exactly what those sites leave out.
I rebuilt it around the questions a nervous patient actually asks. The first visit is given a length, each treatment card carries how many visits it takes and how long each one runs, an office tour shows the room before you walk into it, and the practice's history runs as a timeline from 1967 to now instead of an About paragraph. It is built on the Next.js App Router with server components, Tailwind v4 and Framer Motion — parallax hero, staggered scroll reveals, animated counters — with the motion held slow enough not to fight the subject. Accessibility was part of the build rather than a pass at the end: skip-to-content, visible focus states, and contrast kept through the light palette. Every page ships full Dentist structured data in JSON-LD, so hours, address and rating are machine-readable.
